Another Blunder From The President, What Could It Be This Time

President Biden’s recent interview has ignited a firestorm of criticism among passionate Republican voters, as he revealed that the United States is low on 155 mm artillery ammunition rounds. This alarming admission has raised serious concerns about the competency of the Biden administration and its ability to prioritize national security.

During the interview, which aired on Sunday morning, Biden attempted to defend his administration’s decision to send cluster munitions to Ukraine as a temporary measure until more ammunition can be produced.

However, this explanation did little to appease conservative pundits and experts who questioned why Biden would publicly announce such a shortage, potentially alerting our adversaries.

Conservatives took to social media to express their confusion and outrage over Biden’s revelation. Political operative Logan Dobson sarcastically commented, “”Love when the president of America goes on CNN to tell everyone we’re low on ammo.”” Conservative communicator Steve Guest expressed his frustration, tweeting, “”Moron. Does Biden not care that our adversaries in China are listening?””

Even Byron York of the Washington Examiner, hardly a staunch conservative, found Biden’s remarks troubling. He wrote, “”In CNN interview, President Biden is not particularly clear but seems to be saying US is sending cluster munitions to Ukraine because we are running out of 155mm artillery ammunition to send them. Seems obvious this is affecting US readiness to defend itself.””

The White House attempted to do damage control when a spokesperson clarified that the United States is not running out of ammunition and that everything sent to Ukraine exceeds our reserve requirements. However, the damage had already been done. Political commentator Ian Miles Cheong remarked, “”Joe Biden wasn’t supposed to say the quiet part out loud: ‘We’ve run out of ammunition.’ But now that the cat’s out of the bag, one must ask whether continued support of Ukraine’s military is even feasible as the conflict rages on.””

Critics also pointed out the inconsistency in Biden’s stance on cluster munitions. Robert Kennedy Jr., Biden’s opponent in the Democrat presidential race, took to Twitter to condemn the decision. He reminded everyone that White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki had previously called the use of cluster bombs a “”war crime.”” Kennedy questioned, “”What happened to his conscience?””

The Biden administration’s authorization of cluster munitions for Ukraine was defended by a White House official, who emphasized the need to ensure Ukraine’s defense. The official stated that the cluster munitions are a temporary solution until domestic production of ammunition can be significantly increased.

The revelation of the ammunition shortage has shaken the confidence of passionate Republican voters. It raises serious doubts about the Biden administration’s ability to protect our national security interests and maintain a strong defense. Republicans must remain vigilant and hold the administration accountable to ensure the safety and security of our great nation.
