DeSantis Being Told NOT To Run And You’ll Never Guess By Who

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has urged Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to support former President Donald Trump’s potential 2024 presidential bid rather than running against him in the primary.

Palin made these comments during an interview on Newsmax with host Eric Bolling. Palin, who was the Republican vice-presidential nominee in 2008, believes that DeSantis is “our best governor” and “sets the tone” for other governors across the country.

However, she feels that he should not run for president in 2024, as Trump is the right candidate to lead the Republican Party.

Palin went on to say that Trump needs to select someone who has been through the wringer, much like he has, and has nothing left to lose, as this would allow them to focus on doing what’s right for the American people.

While Palin did not explicitly state that she was referring to herself, she did imply that she had experience running with a presidential nominee who did not share her conservative principles.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that several individuals are vying for the vice-presidential spot on Trump’s 2024 ticket. One such person is Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, who has allegedly expressed her ambitions to several people.

Greene is a second-term congresswoman who has been one of House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy’s most vocal allies. Steve Bannon, an early political adviser to Trump, has suggested that Greene is ambitious and sees herself on the shortlist for the vice-presidential spot.

Another potential candidate is New York Representative Elise Stefanik. CNN recently reported that Stefanik is high on the “running mate list” for Trump.

While talk of a vice-presidential pick is premature, some current and former advisers and allies in Trump’s orbit believe that the former President would benefit from tapping a woman for vice president if he were to run again.

Sources suggest that Trump has been surveying close friends and allies on what they think of Stefanik, one of several Republican women he is considering for the VP slot, though he has not ruled out a few male contenders either.

In conclusion, Palin’s comments suggest that the Republican Party should rally around Trump and support his potential 2024 presidential bid.

Meanwhile, several individuals are reportedly vying for the vice-presidential spot on Trump’s ticket, including Marjorie Taylor Greene and Elise Stefanik. Only time will tell who will be selected for the position, but it is clear that Trump is actively considering a range of potential candidates.
