Joe Biden announced his re-election campaign, but not everyone is excited. Republicans are speaking out about the president’s low approval ratings and his questionable decisions since taking office.
According to an NBC News poll, 70% of U.S. adults said that they do not support Biden running for president again. Despite this, Biden remains committed to his campaign, citing his record on job creation and economic growth as evidence that he deserves another term.
But Republican voters are not buying it. Many are concerned about Biden’s handling of the border crisis, rising inflation, and his tendency to backtrack on promises made during his campaign.
Furthermore, Biden’s support for progressive policies like the Green New Deal and Medicare for All has alienated many moderate voters, who fear that these policies will lead to higher taxes and bigger government.
As the 2024 election approaches, it remains to be seen whether Biden can win over enough voters to secure another term in office. But one thing is clear: Republicans are not impressed with his performance so far.
