The House Oversight Committee has issued a subpoena to Bank of America for records related to Hunter Biden’s business dealings.
The subpoena, which was issued by Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., requested “all financial records” from three of Hunter Biden’s business associates dating back to Jan. 20, 2009.
According to a committee spokesperson, the financial records obtained by the committee have “solidified our understanding of several areas of concern and have opened new avenues of investigation about the Biden family’s business schemes.”
However, Democrats on the panel have accused Republicans of conducting “political opposition research on behalf of former President Trump.”
Despite this pushback, the GOP committee spokesperson has dismissed the accusations as a “ploy to try to get ahead of the information the Oversight Committee is receiving in its investigation of the Biden family’s influence peddling.”
The federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings has been ongoing for five years, with Hunter Biden under investigation for his tax affairs since 2018.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the Biden family has been using a combination of political connections and shady business dealings to enrich themselves at the expense of the American people.
Bank of America is now turning over thousands of pages of financial information belonging to Hunter Biden’s business associate John R. Walker, known as Rob Walker, who worked with Hunter Biden, President Biden’s brother Jim, their business associate James Gilliar, and Tony Bobulinksi in a joint-venture called Sinohawk Holdings.
The joint venture was meant to be a partnership with the Chinese energy firm CEFC. This latest development has opened new avenues of investigation into the Biden family’s business schemes.
It is clear that the Biden family’s corruption is finally being exposed, and they must be held accountable for their actions. The American people deserve transparency and honesty from their leaders, and it is time for the truth to come out.
The House Oversight Committee’s latest move is just the beginning of the Biden family’s downfall.
