The Surprising Face Of The US At This Ceremony, You’ll Never GUESS Who’s Attending

The United States and the United Kingdom will witness a historic moment on May 6th, as First Lady Jill Biden attends King Charles III’s coronation, marking the first time a U.S. official has attended a British monarch’s coronation in 70 years. However, President Joe Biden will not be in attendance, breaking a tradition of U.S. presidents not attending British monarch’s coronations.

Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, was questioned about President Biden’s absence at the anticipated event but stumbled to provide a solid answer.

Instead, she mentioned the President’s “good relationship” with the King and his plans to meet with King Charles in the future.

While it’s disappointing that President Biden chose to skip this historic event, it’s not surprising given his track record of disrespecting American traditions and values. On the other hand, First Lady Jill Biden’s attendance is a positive representation of the United States and our special relationship with the United Kingdom.
