A recent poll from Quinnipiac University suggests that a majority of Americans believe Trump should be disqualified from running for the White House due to criminal charges he faces.
However, his fundraising success has been impressive, with his campaign reporting nearly $18.8 million in the January-March quarter of 2023 fundraising.
Blackburn’s endorsement underscores Trump’s popularity among Republicans, despite the controversy surrounding him. It remains to be seen who will represent the Republican Party in 2024, but for now, Donald Trump remains the frontrunner.
