You’ll NEVER Guess Who’s Accused of Misusing Campaign Funds

The Coolidge Reagan Foundation has filed a complaint with the FEC alleging that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used campaign donations to reimburse herself for thousands of dollars in alleged expenses that were never properly explained or disclosed.

The complaint cites $9,600 in reported credit card expenditures that the Congresswoman claims to have personally spent on resources relating to her reelection.

AOC has faced similar scrutiny in the past for her attendance at the 2021 Met Gala in New York, where she wore a dress emblazoned with “Tax the Rich” printed on its backside. Republicans must demand accountability from AOC and her allies to ensure that the law is upheld.

The complaint alleges that AOC repeatedly violated federal campaign finance law by not properly disclosing the purposes of each payment made with her campaign’s credit card.

Although campaigns are permitted to use credit cards for otherwise permissible campaign-related expenses, they must accurately identify both the recipient of those funds and each of the campaign-related goods and services that those cards were used to purchase. The lack of disclosure by AOC raises serious questions about the legality of her campaign finances.

This is just the latest in a long line of questionable actions by AOC. Republicans need to stand together and demand accountability from AOC and her allies. We cannot allow the radical left to continue to flout the law and engage in unethical behavior.
