Can you believe how Americans feel about their personal finances now?

In a recent press briefing, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to convince the American people that they should feel better about their personal finances under President Biden. However, her claims were met with skepticism and criticism on social media.

During the briefing, reporters questioned Jean-Pierre about the upcoming speech where Biden plans to highlight the success of “Bidenomics” as part of his re-election campaign. One reporter pointed out that only 34% of Americans approve of Biden’s handling of the economy, putting the press secretary on the defensive.

Jean-Pierre defended Biden’s record by highlighting the creation of 13 million jobs and the increase in wages. She also emphasized the importance of good-paying union jobs that Biden’s policies are expected to generate. However, several Twitter users were quick to challenge her assertions, suggesting that only one family has truly benefited from Biden’s economic policies.

Republican Representative Bob Good of Virginia took to Twitter to express his skepticism, stating, “The only people in America who feel better about their personal finances are the Biden Crime Family.” His sentiment was echoed by Michael Seifert, CEO of PublicSQ, who quipped that the only American feeling better about their personal finances is Biden’s son.

The skepticism continued with Benjamin Weingarten, Editor at Large of RealClearInvestigations, humorously remarking, “This is certainly true of at least one family.” These remarks highlight the doubts surrounding the effectiveness of Biden’s economic policies.

Representative Wesley Hunt of Texas criticized the current state of the economy under Biden, pointing to high inflation, a sense of national direction going astray, and the financial struggles many Americans face. He asserted that Biden has failed the country.

Echoing these concerns, Representative Guy Reschenthaler of Pennsylvania highlighted the 15.5% increase in prices and the 3.2% decrease in real wages since Biden took office. He argued that Americans are suffering due to Biden’s policies.

Writer Eddie Scarry from The Federalist even claimed, “Fact check: Americans now pop anti-anxiety pills just to go to the grocery store because of Biden’s policies.” This vivid statement underlines the anxieties and hardships experienced by everyday Americans.

In addition to economic concerns, Jean-Pierre also faced questions about Hunter Biden’s attendance at a White House state dinner after pleading guilty to federal tax charges. However, she evaded the question and emphasized the administration’s commitment to ethics and transparency.

With Biden’s approval rating at a mere 42% and a disapproval rating of 53% according to RealClearPolitics’ polling average, it is evident that many Americans remain skeptical of his economic claims and the overall direction of the country under his leadership.

The doubts expressed by Republican representatives and concerned citizens on social media reflect the growing disillusionment with Biden’s policies and their impact on the American people.
